Cuddly Animal Farm & Tearoom

Front Yard

Our farm allows interaction with all our small animals in a safe environment. In our front yard you can walk into the cuddly animal house and meet our rabbits, guinea pigs, and help farmer Peter feed our greedy lambs and goats. Our walk in chook house has chicks, ducklings or goslings we have new arrivals all the time. Our resident kangaroos also bounce around to meet you as well as friendly ducks and chooks.

Outdoor facilities include our large bouncy castle, playground, sand pit, cubby house, ride-on tractors and seating and dining areas as well as our lawn just outside the tearoom.

Back Yard

This is where our larger animals live when they are not in the paddocks. Say G’day to Macca our miniature pony, meet Cheeky Chris and Leigh our Alpaca and Llama. Missy Moo, Valentino & Fred are our Low line cattle, they love to eat hay.

Our sheep, Baa-bara, Shady, Lamb chop, Delilah the Damara, Silly Sally Suffolk & wife of Barry like to race for their food so we have made them a race track. The goats will say hi too and like to see who is arriving.

Get down and gobble with our turkeys. We have a wide range of chooks including many bantams of all sizes and colours. The Ninghan Muscovy Mob are our hungry but friendly ducks who will eat out of your hands. We also have Jeminah Puddle duck and her friends who are Indian Runners, Khaki's, and Mallards. Goosey Gander proudly leads his geese around the farm and loves splashing in our pond too. We try to have as many of our animals wandering free as we can.

Out in the Paddocks

Rosy & Lilly our Jersey cows live out in the paddocks but are close by when we are open for you to meet. Say hi to our resident ostriches Sharon & Andrea or even check-out Big Billy the Boer goat and his girls over the safety of a fence. They are all very sociable and look forward to meeting you.

Kangaroos & baby animals

We have kangaroos including Western Greys and Euros that are friendly but free to hop around our large yards as we do not cage them up. Baby animals are always arriving and our ever expanding family here at Ninghan Park Farm would love to say hello.

The 'Trough' Tearoom

Everyone is welcome in ‘The Trough’ our spacious tearoom & shop complete with Metter Pot in the corner. Available to visitors of our cuddly animal farm or anyone who just fancies dropping by to enjoy the views over light refreshments, in which case no entrance fee applies. Recently renovated from a fruit packing shed we now boast reverse cycle air conditioning, seating for up to 30 persons with high chairs and small tables and chairs especially for our younger visitors. We also offer outdoor seating so you can enjoy the views. Our menu includes Devonshire teas, cakes, and light meals including hot chips as well as snacks & lollies. We provide espresso & plunger coffees, teas, fresh juice & cool drinks. Specials are available depending on the season.

You are free to wander our farm tracks across 75 rolling acres and explore our fruit orchards and winter creeks including the ruins of the old coach house.

Our child friendly toilets include baby changing facilities, steps and child booster seats to enable small children to use the toilets easily. As well as the sinks in the toilets, we have an outdoor sink to encourage everyone to wash their hands after touching the animals.

Opening times; 10.00am to 4.00pm Wednesday to Sunday (closed Mon & Tues). Open most public holidays except Christmas, Boxing & New Years Day. Check local press or call for additional opening times during school holidays etc. Working with Children numbers: 564843 & 563160. Currently no EFTPOS facilities. 

Cuddly Animal Farm Tariff; $8 Adults; $6 children (1 to 16); Pensioners $6, Family ticket $25 up to 4 members and $5 per person thereafter. Discounts for pre-booked groups. All children accompanied by an adult. Kids parties fully catered from $15 per child including Mr Moo our dancing cow.
